YOUR NETWORK CHANGES THE PROCESS
Your electricity retailer sends the bill, but your distributor owns the local network and sets the requirements for work at the connection point. Choose the network profile that matches your address for practical, source-backed guidance.

RETAILER OR DISTRIBUTOR?
A retailer sells your electricity plan and bills you. A distributor operates the poles, wires and connection network for your address. You can choose a retailer, but you cannot choose the distributor that serves the property.
START WITH THE BILL
Look for the distributor name near your network faults or emergency contact details. If you are unsure, tell us the address or suburb when requesting a quote and we can confirm the network path before work is scoped.
CHOOSE YOUR NETWORK
These are the three distributor profiles supported by our current source-backed content model. Each one covers a different network workflow; none is a suburb doorway page.
